Tips to caring for you new extensions
If you have invested in silk nail extensions, treat your new nails with the same care that you would lavish on natural nails if they were the same length. Carry on with your daily chores as normal. Here are a few tips to help you.
- Pick things up with the sides of your fingers.
- When using a telephone dial using a pen or pencil .
- Use your knuckles or pads of your fingers for switches etc.
- Do not be tempted to use your nails as tools, use a knife or screwdriver.
- Water is very damaging to nails, so use gloves when washing up or doing any other household chores.
- If using makeup from a pot use a spatula, not your nails.
- Only use products on your nails, which are supplied or recommended by Sue.
